Position Summary Employnet is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting automotive components and finished vehicles to ensure they meet Tesla's high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and safety. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on vehicle components and finished products.
Identify, document, and report quality defects, discrepancies, and non-conforming materials.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
Verify products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
Complete quality inspections throughout the production process and conduct final inspections prior to shipment.
Accurately document inspection findings and maintain quality records using company systems.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Assist with root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve production quality.
Perform process audits to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Promote workplace safety while following all company policies and manufacturing standards.
Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and organization.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous quality control, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred.
Ability to read work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer skills for documentation and quality reporting.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or various shifts as needed.
