Job Title: Quality Control Inspector- 3rd Shift

Location: Whitewater, WI

Employment Type: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Join our team! We are hiring for a Quality Control Inspector at our Whitewater, WI facility on 3rd Shift. The QC Inspector plays a crucial role in helping us maintain our quality standards by performing regular inspections of each assembly area.

The right fit candidate has a strong attention to detail and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. This role is highly visible and works cross-functionally with other departments to ensure quality defects are addressed through all phases of production.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform hourly quality inspections for each assembly area.
  • Complete rework of quality defects from the various assembly areas.
  • Perform all hourly testing and documenting critical values (pull testing, refill ratio, etc).
  • Perform daily verification of testing equipment used in each assembly area.
  • Assist with coaching of operators when quality issues arise.
  • Crosstrain in all areas of the assembly operations.
  • Record and submit accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the position.
  • Perform department 5S checklists as assigned.
  • Perform line clearance and set up verifications, as needed.
  • Follow PPE and safety rules specified for the work area.
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
  • Train others within the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Position Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to comprehend and use measuring devices.
  • Ability to perform the job and meet production and quality targets on a consistent basis.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is a plus!

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
  • Normal factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.

WHAT SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE? Monday night through Saturday morning shifts

  • 11:00pm-7:00am

WAGE: $17.75 - $19.00
