Quality Control Inspector (1st Shift | Temp-to-Hire)  


Position Overview 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to verify that all products and raw materials meet strict quality specifications. In this role, you will perform technical inspections, utilize precision measuring tools, log critical testing data, and partner with production to resolve quality trends.  


Position Details 

  • Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour  

  • Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Monday - Friday)  

  • Employment Type: Full Time, Temp-to-Hire   


Key Responsibilities 

Inspection & Quality Verification 

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections against engineering blueprints and current specifications.   

  • Measure parts using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, gauges, rulers, and electronic inspection software.   

  • Calibrate and operate Elcometer probes to measure coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.   

  • Make final accept/reject decisions on final goods and remove non-conforming materials from production lines.   


Data Tracking & Process Control  

  • Monitor active production runs to ensure adherence to establish manufacturing standards.  

  • Download chart recorders for ovens and Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) on a weekly basis.  

  • Accurately log test data including product weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and batch quantities.  

  • Generate corrective action reports and track non-conformance trends to support process improvements and product development.  

  • Recommend adjustments to assembly and production procedures to prevent recurring defects.
