$23.00 - $28.00/HR Full-Time Permanent Position with Benefits
 
Available Shifts
  • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
A Cleveland, Ohio area high-tech manufacturing firm that is seeking to hire several Quality Control Inspectors for their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts. Precision manufactured parts for the aerospace and medical industry need to be inspected by experienced inspectors who must be familiar with microscopes and other high-tech vision inspection devices.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform micro-level first-article, in-process, and final inspections on intricate, miniature components.
  • Use high-power microscopes, optical comparators, and automated high-tech vision inspection systems to verify tight tolerances.
  • Electronically log inspection metrics, employee production data, and quality performance tracking into the company's ERP system.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to ensure part compliance against strict aerospace and medical standards.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of quality control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient working extensively with microscopes to handle and inspect micro-sized parts.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for manipulating small, high-value components.
  • Prior experience inspecting parts for the medical device (ISO 13485) or aerospace (AS9100) industries.
  • Hands-on experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and optical comparators.
  • Familiarity with advanced vision systems: SmartScope, OGP, FineScan, or CT scanners.
  • A solid fundamental understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
