Quality Control Inspector

We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector<\/b> to join our steel fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, welds, and finished components meet established industry standards and company specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting results, identifying non -conforming materials, and collaborating with production teams to maintain the highest level of quality and compliance throughout the fabrication process.<\/span>

• Conduct inspections as required, including nonconforming receipt inspections.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Inspect welds for compliance with AWS D1.1 standards.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Perform final inspections on fabricated steel components.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Measure overall part characteristics to ensure specifications are met.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Record and report inspection results accurately.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Inspect grade, shape, and thickness of incoming materials.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Verify that bolts meet purchase order specifications.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain thorough inspection records.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Identify and document non -conforming materials.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure proper gauges are used to measure weld sizes.<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Guarantee calibrated tools are used during all inspections.<\/span>

  Requirements<\/h3>

  
  <\/p>

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in steel fabrication processes.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Meets qualification requirements per AWS D1.1 – Section 8.1.4.2 (5).<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Training and experience consistent with ANSI/AISC 360 -16 Chapter N.4.1 to perform final inspections across all typical company processes.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • QCI qualifications include expertise in welding acceptance criteria, high -strength bolting, and erection tolerances.<\/span>
