Quality Control Inspector – FAB Quality / Final Inspector

Location: Multiple Shifts Available (Days and Swing)

Pay Rate: $20/hr – $26/hr (DOE)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Final Inspector with at least 5 years of relevant experience in PCB fabrication quality inspection. This is a great opportunity to join our team and ensure our printed circuit boards (PCBs) meet the highest quality standards before shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed final inspections on completed PCBs to ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer drawings, and internal specifications.

  • Verify critical dimensions, hole sizes, plating quality, solder mask, legend, surface finish, and overall workmanship.

  • Inspect for cosmetic defects such as scratches, dents, solder mask misregistration, and contamination.

  • Use inspection tools including microscopes, magnifiers, calipers, and other precision instruments.

  • Complete inspection documentation and traveler paperwork accurately.

  • Tag and segregate nonconforming material; communicate issues to QA team and Production.

  • Ensure traceability and maintain accurate records for inspected lots.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on recurring issues or process deviations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in PCB fabrication or quality inspection (required).

  • Knowledge of IPC-A-600 standards (Acceptability of Printed Boards) is required.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to detect visual and dimensional defects.

  • Ability to read and interpret customer drawings, work instructions, and travelers.

  • Familiarity with inspection equipment including microscopes, calipers, and gauges.
