HumanHire is partnering with a precision manufacturing company in the Hicksville area to find a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with opportunities for growth.
Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements to verify product accuracy.
Identify and document defects and non-conformances; work with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate inspection records and support improvements to quality processes and inspection procedures.
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and understand dimensional requirements.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues, analyze problems, and support corrective actions.
High school diploma or equivalent required; quality, manufacturing, or technical certification/education preferred. Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
