Quality Control Inspector Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough visual inspections
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to identify defects such as cracks, poor seams, or welding issues
  • Previous quality control or warehouse experience preferred
  • Warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Role is primarily visual inspection and not physically demanding
  • Requires focus, attention to detail, and consistency

Job Duties

Each shift keeps you moving and focused. You'll perform visual inspections of welded products to ensure quality standards are met, check for leaks, cracks, seaming issues, and welding defects, and identify and report any quality concerns or inconsistencies. You'll also maintain accurate inspection records as needed and work closely with production teams to ensure products meet specifications.

What You Will Do

As a Quality Control Inspector you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

The Quality Control Inspector plays an important role in manufacturing by helping ensure products meet customer expectations and engineering specifications before shipment. This position requires careful observation, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.

Successful Quality Control Inspector candidates understand inspection techniques, blueprint interpretation, quality documentation, and manufacturing standards while supporting safe and efficient production operations. Attention to detail contributes directly to product reliability.
