PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Engineer I to support our client, a world-renowned innovator in power generation and energy technology, at their facility in Imperial, PA. ???? Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | 40 Hours per Week
???? Pay Rate:$25.45/hour
As a Quality Control Engineer I, you'll be at the forefront of quality assurance, helping to ensure products meet the highest standards before reaching customers worldwide. From inspecting incoming materials to monitoring production processes and validating finished products, your work will directly contribute to operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and industry-leading performance.
What You'll DoIncoming Quality ControlPerform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components.
Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
Partner with supplier quality teams to identify issues and support corrective actions.
Manage non-conformance reports and ensure proper resolution.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify process deviations and support timely corrective actions.
Verify adherence to internal quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine audits and inspections to validate process controls.
Assist in developing and improving inspection procedures and quality protocols.
Inspect finished products and witness testing activities prior to shipment.
Conduct final quality evaluations, including visual inspections, dimensional verification, and performance assessments.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve product-level quality concerns.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and non-conformance activities.
Prepare quality documentation for customer reviews and regulatory audits.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
3-5 years of quality control, quality inspection, or manufacturing quality experience.
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
Background in power conversion, inverter technology, electrical systems, or related industries.
Knowledge of inspection methodologies, process audits, and corrective action practices.
