Location: Irving, TX – Onsite
Payrate: $21.16/Hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to perform incoming inspections of materials and components used in medical device manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and experience using basic measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming quality inspections following GMP, GLP, and quality system requirements.
• Inspect materials according to engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections using calipers, gauges, rulers, and other measuring tools.
• Inspect cable harnesses and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
• Accept or reject supplier lots based on inspection results.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials.
• Complete required quality paperwork and system transactions.
• Create discrepant material reports when quality issues are identified.
• Assist with collecting, analyzing, and trending inspection data.
• Support quality improvement activities and process changes.
• Follow FDA, ISO, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Escalate complex quality issues to senior quality personnel.

Required Skills

• Experience performing quality control or quality inspections.
• Ability to perform visual and dimensional inspections.
• Experience using calipers, gauges, rulers, or similar measurement tools.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and work independently.

Required Experience

• 0–2 years of incoming or dimensional inspection experience.
• Experience using calipers, gauges, rulers, or similar measurement tools.
• Manufacturing or quality control experience preferred.
• Internship experience will be considered.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, FDA, ISO, and quality systems.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
