RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform general housekeeping and cleanup to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Perform Receiving, In‑Process, and Shipping inspections in accordance with applicable quality procedures and inspection plans.
  • Authorize final product release in accordance with Quality Management System requirements and defined authority.
  • Operate and care for inspection and laboratory testing equipment used to verify product conformity.
  • Maintain and control welder qualification records in accordance with applicable standards and internal procedures.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) or coordinate approved outsourced inspection activities as required.
  • Initiate Quality Notifications, and follow up with all affected departments to ensure timely resolution and effective implementation.
  • Manage measurement equipment calibration and traceability, ensuring compliance with calibration and monitoring requirements.
  • Participate in internal quality audits in accordance with the annual internal audit plan, supporting audit execution and reporting activities.
  • Identify, report, manage, and support closure of escaping defects, audit findings, product holds, and quality violations.
  • Execute assigned quality activities in compliance with the Quality Management System requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality, safety, and production procedures while performing assigned duties.
  • Comply with the company Code of Ethics and quality policies.
  • Perform other quality-related duties assigned in support of operational and compliance objectives.

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Authority to report quality issues, nonconformities, and product holds through defined quality systems.
  • Authority to support corrective action activities within assigned scope.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education and Training: High School education or equivalent or as deemed sufficient by management
  • Technical Requirements: Computer literate; interpret engineering drawings and specifications; good verbal communication skills
  • Experience: At least 5 years work experience in similar role, or as deemed sufficient by management
