In addition, Applied Energy Systems is ISO certified providing precision welding services to the medical device industry.Position Overview:The Quality Control Inspector will support our Quality department by inspecting and measuring weldments and high and ultra- high purity gas delivery systems and components. In addition to being able to read and understand engineering drawings, job travelers, and written procedures, the applicant must also have experience with inspection, measuring, math, hand tools, and have good manual dexterity.Responsibilities Include:Assist the QA department with proper inspection methods and techniquesComplete incoming inspections of raw materials, customer supplied parts, and purchased componentsVerify parts to drawingsPerform in-process QC checks and analytical testingRead project drawings, specifications, work orders, and proceduresCheck components for proper fit & function, identifying any faulty componentsSafely operate common manufacturing and quality tools and equipmentAssist in issuing, collecting, calibrating, and maintaining measuring equipmentComplete production paperwork and recordkeepingFollow departmental processes and proceduresPreferred Skills:Detail orientatedExperience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, or 13485)Ability to focus while multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environmentFamiliarity with the operation of common manufacturing, quality, and measuring tools and equipmentAbility to work with and handle small instruments and componentsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookRequirements:High School degree required1 + years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturingMust have good vision and dexterityMust be able to stand, bend, twist, and sit throughout the day for extended periods of timeApplied Energy Systems is an equal opportunity/ affirmative action employer.Applied Energy Systems Inc is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
