Quality Control Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing, quality inspection, medical device, or production experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and inspection instructions
Basic understanding of quality inspection techniques and measurement tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to follow detailed procedures, work instructions, and regulatory requirements
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate ERP or manufacturing systems
Ability to identify, document, and communicate quality issues effectively
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while following established guidelines and procedures
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
Experience performing visual or dimensional inspections
Knowledge of medical device manufacturing or quality systems
Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments
Familiarity with ERP systems and electronic quality records
Quality Control Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional and/or visual inspection to blueprint using gauges and other reliable inspection equipment
Perform material and component inspections
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify FAI data (incl. statistical analysis) is acceptable
Read and inspect blueprints and/or inspection guide sheets/instructions
Perform Document Review, analyze, inspect, and archive DHRs (paper-based and/or electronically) in compliance with GMP/GDP requirements before release to finished goods
Perform computer system transactions related to router inspections, etc.
Segregate, quarantine, and complete documentation for non-conforming materials when necessary
Perform product release disposition tasks in the ERP system
Support the achievement of Inspection Teams' KPI's
Work to forecasts and plans based on Business requirements
