• Perform required inspection functions on aircraft, engines, materials, parts, and sub-assemblies.
• Review aircraft and engine logbooks at all checks; identify pilot reports and deferred maintenance items for appropriate work documentation.
• Conduct airframe and engine inspections per routine work cards and perform buy-back inspections on non-routine or major work items.
• Apply appropriate inspection methods, techniques, and tools to determine airworthiness and conformity.
• Maintain proficiency and inspection currency as required by the Repair Station Training Program.
• Utilize current technical data including maintenance manuals, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper identification, control, segregation, and tagging of all parts, materials, and tools (serviceable vs. unserviceable).
• Verify completion and accuracy of aircraft inspection records, work forms, and logbook entries.
• Identify and document discrepancies during preliminary inspections and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.
• Identify and perform Required Inspection Item (RII) functions in accordance with customer manuals and procedures.
• Perform work acceptance inspections to confirm conformity and workmanship to approved standards, document approval with appropriate signatures or stamps.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of aviation maintenance experience (Part 121 or Part 145 preferred).
• Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 145 maintenance and inspection requirements.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (I-551).
• Familiarization or experience with B767 and B747 aircraft is strongly preferred.
• Experience in quality control processes, corrective and preventive actions, continuous improvement, and maintenance documentation.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
