QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR (Permanent)
Our client, a global manufacturing organization with headquarters in WNY, is looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to their growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test products/materials throughout various stages in the production process to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Identify and report defects/non-conformities to both management and the production teams
  • Collaborate with production to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are being implemented
  • Audit manufacturing processes and documents to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Ensure detailed and up-to-date records are being kept of test results, inspections, defects, and corrective actions taken
  • Participate in the development of quality procedures and protocols
  • Monitor and track quality metrics, providing regular updates to upper management
  • Work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

  • Position is full-time, direct hire
  • 100% in-office
  • $22.00 - $25.00/hour depending on experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years’ experience in quality assurance/inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with trade tools such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Relocation not available
