Do you have a keen eye for detail? Are you one to notice things that are off or maybe not quite right...maybe some would say a perfectionist? If so, you just may be what we are looking for in our QC position. Candidates MUST HAVE at least 6 months of relevant QC experience to be considered for this position.
This position is full time and offers a M-TH 7 AM - 5:30 PM schedule with overtime as needed on Fridays.
Daily functions for this position include:
- Inspect cabinet finish: feel cabinet to assure cabinet and parts are smooth to the touch.
- Check color to sample and paperwork. Check cabinet for proper finish - satin, semi, flat, glazing, oversand, distress, etc.
- Check plans to ensure all finished ends are finished and pass color and feel test.
- Compare measurements to plans. Check for wide stiles, extended ends, longer stiles, top and bottom rails.
- Door and drawer front style - check plan to assure all doors and fronts are correct (size, profiles, etc.
- Check hinges for proper style (color, number, and style) and placement of hinges.
- Check plans for all accessories including roll-outs, breadboards, spice racks, tip outs, etc.
- Drawer Slides - check for proper slides.
- Bumpers and stickers - check all cabinets for bumpers along with stickers that apply.
- Panels - confirm panels are finished on the proper ends.
