Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with production and quality assurance teams to inspect, measure, and verify the integrity of soft goods used in parachutes and related devices.

What You'll Do


As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Performing inspections, checks, tests, and sampling on incoming materials, components, and finished products
• Conducting visual and mechanical inspections to verify quality and specifications
• Inspecting fabric, stitching, seams, and workmanship of soft goods
• Reviewing production records to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions
• Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements
• Documenting inspection findings accurately and maintaining quality records
• Supporting calibration and maintenance of inspection tools
• Partnering with production teams to identify issues and recommend corrective actions
• Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and quality projects

What You'll Bring


The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or Manufacturing
• Experience with soft goods, textiles, sewing, aerospace, or medical devices preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
• Proficiency with measurement tools and interpreting blueprints
• Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is a plus

Location & Schedule:


This position is on-site in Irvine and offers a standard daytime shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
