Description
We have a wonderful opportunity for a Quality Tech position in Inwood, WV with a local manufacturer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have strong knowledge of quality management systems such as TQM, 6-Sigma, and EHS Standards
- Strong experience in quality assurance and process improvements and manufacturing experience in a related quality role.
- Able to work independently and with a team and be able to handle changing priorities.
- Must be able to carry up to 50lbs, work in heat above 90 degrees and work in a fast paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will maintain all quality control procedures and polices.
- Provide hands on quality support and guidance to all staff
- Ensure product meets customer specifications and expectations
- Complete quality checks and supply quality support to all levels of the business
- Investigate and assist in determining root cause and corrective actions for customer complaints
- Will conduct training and organize trials for new products and support/drive continuous improvement throughout the plant.
HOURS:
- Day shift available on a 12 hour 2-2-3 schedule
