Summary:TheQuality Assurance Lab Technician I provide assistance for the Quality Assurance laboratory with various Quality initiatives
EssentialDuties andResponsibilities:Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Assists in obtaining supplies and calibrating equipment;
Analyzing production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics;
Investigates quality and production issues including customer complaints per supervisor requests;
Prepare samples for internal and external customers as requested;
Maintains quality production records in a timely manner;
Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. High School or GED desired;
Two (2) years’ Manufacturing or Lab experience, a plus;
Bilingual (Required)
Demonstrated high level of computer experience;
Demonstrated good communication skills;
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure;
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals;
Ability to learn to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
