About the work

Picture your day moving smoothly from one precise task to the next. You start by decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing glassware and containers so every assay begins with a clean slate. You verify that laboratory instruments are ready—monitored, maintained, and calibrated—before preparing media, reagents, and standard solutions for the runs ahead.

With everything staged, you perform routine testing on product and incoming raw material samples. When a data point doesn’t look right, you speak up quickly and document the event, completing OOS, NCR, and IR forms to ensure nonconforming or rejected materials are handled correctly. Throughout the day, you set up equipment, keep it in peak condition, and follow established methods so results are reliable and repeatable.

Core responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize laboratory glassware and other containers.
• Monitor, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment on schedule.
• Prepare media, reagents, standard solutions, and ready equipment for use.
• Execute routine testing on product and raw material samples.
• Recognize and promptly communicate unexpected results; complete OOS, NCR, and IR documentation for nonconforming or rejected materials.

What you bring

• Hands-on quality inspection background within a laboratory setting.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations and expectations for laboratory work.
• Proficiency following and authoring Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrated experience in quality control testing and documentation.
