Job Summary

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial indoor and outdoor manufacturing environment. This individual will be performing routine tests as required on raw materials, in process components and final product.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform and monitor daily plastic concrete testing
  • Perform and monitor daily compressive strength testing
  • Perform and monitor daily moistures analysis testing
  • Perform and monitor weekly dry fit testing
  • Perform and monitor Three Edge Bearing testing as needed
  • Perform and monitor daily pre/post pour inspections
  • Perform and monitor Root Cause Analysis reporting
  • Report to management team on process improvements, opportunities, respective mistakes, scrap levels and quality concerns
  • Oversee team of 2-4 individuals
  • Responsible for receiving and filing of all QC documentation reports, daily, weekly, monthly or on annual basis as needed
  • Ensure plant readiness for all internal IQAP, ACPA, and DOT audits / assessments
  • Perform, monitor and maintain all implementation of Krinkle apps for all assigned quality team members
  • Maintain and implement all Oldcastle QSM (Quality Systems Manual) standards to comply with company policy
  • Monitor production operations as needed
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have quality control experience in related industry
  • ACI Field Grade I Testing, ACI Strength Testing, ACI Aggregate Testing, ACPA Pipe School within 90 days and maintain certifications
  • Basic computer and tablet skills
  • Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs periodically throughout the day

Compensation

  • The hourly pay rate is $32-$34/hr
  • Vacation hours of two weeks per year
  • Sick leave benefits in accordance with State Laws
