Description
- Manage and improve quality control processes across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and internal quality standards.
- Oversee in-process and final inspections to maintain consistent product quality.
- Maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation systems.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive accountability for results.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, nonconformances, and customer concerns.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Track trends and identify opportunities to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and minimize waste.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality performance, delivery, and cost reduction.
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Coach, mentor, and develop quality personnel to improve performance and technical capabilities.
- Provide guidance and training on quality systems, inspection methods, and best practices.
- Build a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management teams to achieve business objectives.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising or managing quality personnel.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Experience analyzing quality data and reporting performance metrics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Offer
- Base salary $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
- Annual bonus target - 7% target
- 18 days paid time off + paid holidays
