Position Title: Quality Control Manager

Area of Requirement: Fort Carson, Colorado (Colorado Springs)

Scope of Position:

The Quality Control Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the KGs Quality Control Program to ensure all operations, maintenance, repair, inspection, and construction activities comply with contract requirements. The QCM performs independent oversight of KG and subcontractor performance, monitors quality metrics, conducts inspections, verifies corrective actions, and maintains continuous Joint Commission readiness throughout all supported healthcare facilities. The QCM functions as a dedicated stand-alone position and reports directly to senior contract management.

Tasks and Capabilities Required:

  • Manage the Quality Control Program
  • Monitor KG performance
  • Verify contract compliance
  • Conduct independent inspections
  • Implement the Quality Control Plan
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections
  • Monitor PM, CM, emergency work, and repair projects
  • Verify subcontractor service quality
  • Track deficiencies and corrective actions
  • Conduct trend analysis
  • Provide remedial quality training
  • Maintain quality documentation
  • Prepare quality reports for Government review

Mandatory Experience and Certifications:

  • Minimum 2 years quality control experience in healthcare facilities
  • Minimum 2 years working in comparable healthcare environments
  • Experience performing quality inspections and reporting
  • Onsite during normal duty hours
  • Stand-alone position (not dual-hatted)
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission quality requirements and healthcare maintenance practices

Preferred/Desired Certifications:

  • Experience supporting two or more Joint Commission hospital surveys
  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
