Position Summary

OMG Federal is proactively identifying qualified candidates for an upcoming opportunity supporting U.S. Army IT operations. This position is not currently funded but is anticipated as part of future program requirements. Selected candidates will be contacted as timelines are confirmed.

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support enterprise IT operations at a Department of Defense site in Utah. This role is responsible for ensuring service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across all program activities in support of mission success.

**AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED**

Position Overview

The Quality Control Manager will lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of quality assurance and quality control processes across the program. This individual will ensure adherence to federal standards, contract requirements, and performance metrics, while driving continuous improvement across IT service delivery and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP) in alignment with the government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance against contract requirements and service level agreements
  • Ensure compliance with DoD standards, including RMF, STIGs, and cybersecurity policies
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and performance reviews across IT operations and service delivery
  • Identify risks, deficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate with program leadership, technical teams, and government stakeholders on quality-related initiatives
  • Track and report quality metrics, trends, and performance outcomes
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives using ITIL and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 8+ years of federal experience supporting DoD or military environments
  • Experience developing and managing QASP/QCP frameworks
  • Strong understanding of DoD IT operations and service delivery environments
  • Experience with Windows/Microsoft enterprise environments

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

  • Security+ certification (preferred)
  • Experience with ITIL and/or Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience with RMF and STIG compliance
  • ITIL
  • Lean Six Sigma

Additional Requirements

  • Resume and certification documentation required for submission
  • Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and program activities

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Periodic travel to client meetings, planning sessions, or program events as needed
  • Standard business hours with flexibility based on project requirements
