Pay Rate:$85,000–$106,000/year; Based on experience

Experience: Must have 5+ years of quality engineering or quality management experience in a machine shop or contract manufacturing environment
Leadership: Previous supervisory experience required

Our growing client is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality operations in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about driving quality improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and developing high-performing teams. You'll work closely with cross-functional departments to strengthen quality systems and deliver products that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager will include:

• Lead, train, and develop the Quality Control Inspection team
• Oversee daily department workflow, scheduling, and employee performance
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures
• Conduct and oversee inspections and testing to ensure products meet quality and regulatory requirements
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Analyze manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and corrective action reports
• Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to leadership
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality policies
• Provide guidance and training on quality standards and best practices throughout the organization

Qualifications for the role of Quality Control Manager:

Required:

• 10+ years of quality engineering or quality management experience in a machine shop or contract manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Experience leading and developing quality teams
• Proficiency with quality measurement tools and related software
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint interpretation
• Familiarity with various metals and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• Experience in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment
