Job Title: Quality Management Representative (QMR)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Management Representative (QMR) to lead our Quality Management System (QMS). This role involves overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the QMS to ensure compliance, consistency, and effectiveness across all processes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage QMS processes, ensuring consistency and compliance.
  • Lead internal audit activities and support customer, regulatory, and certification audits.
  • Ensure adherence to AS9100D, ISO, and other applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and control quality documentation, including manuals and procedures.
  • Evaluate quality metrics, audit results, production data, and customer feedback for improvement opportunities.
  • Present quality performance updates, audit findings, and corrective action plans to leadership.
  • Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) efforts, including root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process work, and final products.
  • Assess quality control systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Produce and review reports related to nonconformances, quality trends, and root cause investigations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop quality team members, managing schedules and performance.
  • Provide training on quality standards, procedures, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, and other teams to address quality issues.
  • Stay informed on industry standards, regulatory changes, and advancements in quality management.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols.
  • Support production efforts during high-demand periods to meet delivery timelines.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in QMS, quality control, and implementing and managing QMS systems.
  • Familiarity with AS9100D, ISO, and quality auditing practices.
  • 5-8 years of experience in quality or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Experience with quality reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement tools/methodologies.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred (or equivalent experience).

Work Environment

The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing. It requires a commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and internal protocols. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mendota Heights, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $68.00/hr.
