Job Title: Quality Control (Mid Level)Location: Miami, FLZip Code: 33196Duration: 12 monthsPay Rate: $17.33/hr.Keyword's: #Miamijobs; #QualityControljobs;Start Date: ImmediateJob Description: - Provides technical support to operating and engineering personnel by reviewing, inspecting, and conducting non-destructive testing activities to assure that structures, systems, equipment, components and/or activities meet specifications, codes, management expectations, and/or regulatory requirements. Primary activities include:- Performing and/or coordinating non-destructive testing; inspecting components, procedures, and documentation; identifying quality problems and recommending solutions. - Additional activities include gathering data on equipment/system conditions, maintaining records, writing reports, and conducting analyses of quality data, Travels to facilities as needed. Develops and nurtures relationships with key technical -counterparts, trade allies and customers. - Three years inspection/test job related experience/training. - Inspect parts, assemblies and subassemblies to drawings and prints. - Initiates non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications. - Assures that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements. - Initiates corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature. - Completes, inspects and distributes all quality records and documents. - Perform specialized testing as required. - Knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing. - Sound product knowledge.
