Experienced Quality Control Inspector Pay: $19.00$25.00 per hour, DOE Shift: Day Shift Schedule: MondayThursday, 5:00 AM3:30 PM Openings: 1 Position Overview Aero Tech Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to support its manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for inspecting manufactured parts and components to verify they meet required specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on quality inspection experience in manufacturing, machining, metal fabrication, or similar production environment and be comfortable using precision measuring tools and reading technical drawings.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts and components. Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, workmanship, defects, and conformance to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances. Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools. Accurately document inspection results and maintain required quality records. Identify and report nonconforming materials or parts. Work with production personnel to address quality concerns and prevent recurring defects. Verify completed products meet customer and internal quality requirements prior to release. Follow established quality procedures, inspection processes, and safety requirements. Maintain an organized and accurate inspection area and associated documentation.
Qualifications Previous Quality Control/Quality Inspector experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience inspecting fabricated, machined, or manufactured components strongly preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings. Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring instruments. Understanding of dimensional tolerances and basic manufacturing quality standards. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies. Ability to accurately complete inspection reports and quality documentation. Comfortable communicating quality issues with production employees and supervisors. Dependable and able to work independently while maintaining consistent inspection standards
