We are seeking a Quality Control Release Coordinator to join our team and ensure the timely and accurate release of products and raw materials needed in production. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control process, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of quality control procedures. JOB DESCRIPTION: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures. Submit samples for testing to various laboratories using portals and other web-based platforms. Communicate testing failures with QC Manager. Conduct thorough investigation of raw materials and finished products to assess their quality and compliance with specifications. Monitor and document quality control metrics to identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with production teams to address quality control issues and implement corrective actions. Assist in investigations of customer complaints and concerns related to product quality and resolve them in a timely manner. Perform regular audits of ongoing testing versus received results to assist in timely release of raw materials and finished products. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and other related documentation. Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in quality control practices to enhance organizational efficiency. Other responsibilities as assigned SKILLS/ABILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting. Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify potential quality issues. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings. Proficient in using quality control software and tools. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision. Quality control certifications, such as Six Sigma, are a plus.
