Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00/hour (DOE)

Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Shreveport, LA 71108

Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a well-established truck upfitting company in Shreveport. This position plays a critical role in ensuring completed work meets company quality standards before trucks are delivered to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, experience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment, and the confidence to identify issues before products leave the shop.

Responsibilities

• Inspect completed truck upfits to ensure all components have been installed correctly.
• Verify equipment is securely mounted and properly attached on top of, inside, and underneath trucks.
• Perform detailed visual and functional inspections of completed work.
• Confirm all work has been completed according to work orders, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify defects, missing components, or installation concerns and communicate findings to production personnel.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality records.
• Ensure finished products meet customer expectations before shipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Quality Control experience required.
• Manufacturing quality experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and inspection criteria.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and work around production equipment throughout the day.
