Other duties may be assigned.)Oversee performance management and supervision of all QC Team Leaders and Members of the QC DepartmentManage Team Member schedules and daily attendanceManage and monitor torque audits using Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts, data form, and Torque AuditorCommunicate with supporting departments and management on any operational, safety, and quality issuesAssist with the development of Quality Documents including, but not limited to, work instructions, procedures, and flowchartsMonitor and inspect the quality of product, repairs, workmanship, proper labeling, allocation, and staging of parts received externally and manufactured internallyInterface with management and internal trainer to develop and implement training programs as requiredRecord and maintain Team Member records including attendance, work hours, training, and performanceConsistently provide communication of all quality information and objectives to Quality and Production management, supervisors, and Team MembersPrepare daily and month-to-date quality reports for review by management teamImplement and oversee Corrective Actions and Discussion Planners as necessary to correct performance issuesMaintain and manage good quality processes and 5-S standards within the QC DepartmentComply with and promote safety in the workplaceAll other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: YesBasic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in Quality Control within a high-capacity manufacturing environmentRequired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Good Verbal and Written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to make good decisions and take decisive action in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and communication skills with subordinatesPreferred Education & Experience:Associate or bachelor's degreeWorking knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma1-3 years of automotive experience2 years of experience in Just in parts manufacturing (Injection/steel parts) in Automotive industry (SQA, Procurement, Development, Manufacturing control)Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / Mobis Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturingWorking Conditions: 30% office, 70% production floor, 2nd shift
