Job Details

Leadership & Oversight
  • Supervise Quality Inspectors and support daily production needs
  • Act as second-in-command within the Quality organization
  • Drive performance, accountability, and development of the quality team

Quality Systems & Compliance
  • Maintain and improve Quality Systems aligned with ISO9001 & AS9100
  • Serve as SOP Administrator (create, revise, maintain procedures)
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
  • Investigate root causes of defects and customer complaints
  • Implement corrective actions and track outcomes
  • Utilize quality tools (control charts, cause/effect, flow charts, etc.)

Operations & Coordination
  • Partner with production to meet deadlines and quality standards
  • Manage customer returns and maintain complaint records
  • Coordinate with external labs for testing and validation
  • Support new product launches and qualification processes

Must-Haves
  • 5+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong blueprint reading skills (GD&T knowledge required)
  • Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 standards
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience using core quality tools and methodologies

Nice-to-Have
  • Aerospace, textiles, or fabrication manufacturing background
  • Experience supporting new product launches
  • Exposure to external audits and vendor quality coordination

Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Fridays as needed
