We are seeking a Quality Supervisor to have the pleasure of managing a team of quality inspectors through the manufacturing processes, fabrication, and production execution of Spacecraft products. Daily tasking and prioritization will be provided by Quality Engineering Management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Ability to effectively assign, prioritize work tasks and make real-time processing decisions on the floor.
  • Experience working in programs such as EPDM, eWhiteboard, and VE CAMS, etc.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures, reports and engineering drawings.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office software suite.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Process Instructions. (Spacecraft preferred).
  • Experience with measuring and testing equipment in a production environment
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage resources within a manufacturing environment to meet cost, schedule, and quality parameters.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an Public Trust security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an

accredited college in technical discipline ((e.g.,

engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g.,

math, physics, chemistry, etc.).

  • Superior People, Leadership & Communication skills allowing the ability to work with & facilitate communication among a wide range of processing support teams and individuals.
  • Knowledge of Production Manufacturing and Assembly Processes
  • Familiarity with Windchill, Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), SAP & Part, Materials, & Processes (PMP) & VECAMs.
  • Moderate experience in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Good verbal and written communication including technical writing.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
