Now Hiring Quality Control Supervisor Direct Hire

Van Wert, OH

Pay Rate: $28.00 $36.00 per hour

1st shift (Must be willing to check in on other shifts as needed)

What It Takes to Keep Quality Tight

  • 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing or plastics
  • Strong knowledge of metrology, calibration, and inspection methods
  • Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 9001, and quality management systems
  • Experience with SPC, data analysis, and technical reporting
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and manufacturing standards
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and quality software tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and training abilities
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, audit-driven production environment

A Day on the Line

  • Lead, coach, and supervise the Quality Operators team
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, food defense, HACCP, and quality system requirements
  • Support and participate in regulatory, customer, and certification audits
  • Oversee implementation of food safety culture, workplace safety, and environmental programs
  • Manage calibration systems, metrological controls, and equipment verification programs
  • Ensure traceability of certificates, inspection records, and quality documentation
  • Conduct finished product inspections, raw material evaluations, and product release activities
  • Lead investigations for non-conformances, complaints, and quality deviations
  • Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) implementation and data analysis
  • Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, control plans, and technical documentation
  • Ensure proper onboarding and training of employees in quality and operational standards
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of issues
