- Responsible for incoming inspections of molded and purchased parts using vision systems, calipers, and micrometers to ensure conformity to specifications.
- Conducts surface defect examinations, measures dimensions, and records data electronically.
- Communicates inspection results, generates reports, and collaborates with warehouse and QA teams for proper disposition of parts.
- Performs calibration and maintenance of inspection tools, rejects defective parts, and assists in root cause analysis of defects.
Preferred qualifications include an associate’s degree in engineering or science, proficiency in measurement equipment, and good communication skills. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and visual acuity. This role does not cover relocation or travel expenses.
