Our client, a leading manufacturer in the packaging and plastics industry, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Conduct testing and measurements using laboratory and quality control equipment.
Verify product specifications, dimensions, appearance, and performance characteristics.
Accurately document inspection results, test data, and quality records.
Identify non-conforming materials and products and communicate findings to production and management teams.
Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain calibration records and ensure testing equipment is functioning properly.
Support internal audits, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Follow all company safety, GMP, and quality procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
1+ year of quality control, laboratory, manufacturing, or inspection experience preferred.
