Quality Control Technician

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing functions associated with quality control and quality assurance operations.
  • Working with chemists and microbiologists to conduct simple reviews, such as reagent review, pH data review, and visual data review.
  • Conducting complex data reviews, including chromatographic analyses like HPLC and GC, titrations, density measurements, and FTIR assessments.
  • Performing investigations for Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results.
  • Utilizing electronic programs to evaluate data, assisting in assessing and documenting results of quality assurance and control processes.
  • Performing other activities as needed to support quality operations.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Scientific Field preferably Analytical Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working in a GxP laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience performing analytical chemistry data review.
  • Familiarity with cGMP or other cGxP environments.
  • Ability to review data from test methods such as HPLC, GC, titrations, density measurements, FTIR, and reagent review.
  • Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
  • Proficiency with chromatography data analysis using Empower, LabX, and Omnic software.
  • Familiarity with LabVantage 8 for electronic lab notebooks.
