Quality Control Technician

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | First Shift

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory testing and quality inspections that ensure raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet established quality standards. This role is responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting test results, and supporting a safe, compliant laboratory environment. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in accordance with established procedures.

  • Conduct routine chemical and physical analyses to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.

  • Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory test results in a timely manner.

  • Release or reject materials based on established quality standards and testing results.

  • Collect production and environmental samples as required to support quality monitoring.

  • Maintain complete and accurate laboratory records, test data, and quality documentation.

  • Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.

  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization to support a safe and efficient work environment.

  • Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with investigations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and laboratory operations.
Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Quality Control laboratory within the chemical, manufacturing, or related industry.

  • Hands-on experience using laboratory analytical instruments and preparing laboratory samples.

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to accurately follow laboratory procedures, testing methods, and work instructions.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

  • Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in a laboratory setting.
