Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with ISO 9001 standards and site-specific Quality Management System (QMS) processes. This role supports production through inspections, documentation, audits, and corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional quality-related training is a plus. Experience Requirements:

• Previous Quality Control Technician experience required
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with NCRs, CAPAs, inspection records, and quality documentation
• Proficient with inspection tools, gauges, calipers, micrometers, and measuring instruments

Job Duties

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final product inspections
• Maintain inspection records, quality logs, and documentation
• Place products on hold and manage disposition activities
• Communicate quality concerns and product defects to production and leadership
• Support first-piece approvals and in-process quality checks
• Participate in internal and external quality audits
• Create and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
• Maintain inspection equipment and measuring instruments
• Manage product samples and related documentation
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and site-specific quality procedures

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy.
• Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
