Quality Control Technician, Electro‑Mechanical Assemblies

Join us in Warrendale, PA, reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, Global I&C Production & IV&V, and help ensure every part we receive and build meets exacting standards.

How you’ll make an impact

• Analyze engineering work orders and review inspection procedures, drawings, and specifications to define stringent inspection plans.
• Apply Westinghouse Quality procedures to all inspections and records.
• Verify vendor test data for accuracy before acceptance.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical components/assemblies; identify and report defects.
• Conduct receipt inspections by reviewing purchase orders and confirming compliance.

What sets you apart

• Associate's degree in a technical discipline, or a recognized technical program in lieu of formal education (e.g., Naval Nuclear or other military program).
• Readiness to meet qualification requirements of Westinghouse Level 2 procedure WEC 2.9 and achieve Level 1.
• Ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months to satisfy NRC 1.58 Regulatory Guide and ANSI/ASME 45.2.6.
• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP tools for managing work orders, materials, and inspection documentation.
• Fluent in engineering documentation: mechanical/electrical schematics, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
• Current or previous IPC certifications (IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑WHMA‑A‑620, or IPC‑A‑600) reflecting electronics inspection competence.

Compensation

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $41,069.47 - $94,253,36 per year.
