As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring product safety, quality, and consistency. Youll work closely with the quality assurance team to uphold high standards and contribute to continuous improvement in a clean, safe environment.
What Youll Do
As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing scheduled laboratory tests on samples of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company standards.
- Inspecting raw materials and packaging materials to verify compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Accurately recording test results and maintaining detailed documentation.
- Mixing and controlling concentrations of standard laboratory reagents.
- Maintaining lab equipment in proper working condition and reporting any issues promptly.
- Managing inventory of chemical reagents and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of the laboratory area.
- Assisting with waste treatment, yeast cultivation, and culture transfer processes.
- Protecting the confidentiality of all formulations, ingredients, and testing methods.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Food Manufacturing Quality Control laboratory environment OR a relevant degree (Bachelors in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and QA (Quality Assurance) standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Physical stamina to stand or sit for extended periods and safely handle lab chemicals and equipment.
- Knowledge of safe lab practices and experience with chemical reagents and laboratory tools.
