SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician for a large, well known company in Glendale Heights, IL. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.   SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($17/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include 6am-2:30pm.   Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: 
  • Responsibility for accepting or rejecting products as well as raw materials as necessary.
  • Reviewing specifications, standards and or test plans and making recommendations.
  • Keep record of issues they find and may send defective products back to the production line or supplies for repair.
  • Review and implement corrective actions to the product and/or process, while reporting results.
  • Conduct testing on products or processes to determine how the products or processes perform in a simulated environment.
  • Retrieval and verification of All Certificate of Analysis (COA’s) prior to unloading.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements within the inventory function.
  • Any other duties as requested by management.
 Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician: 
  • College degree in engineering, chemistry or business desired but not required.
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Dept
  • Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and traverse facility on unforgiving surfaces.
  • Basic computer skills for email and data entry
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
