Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization dedicated to producing high-quality products, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Control department supporting the Production and Warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Hamlet, NC

Pay Range: $16.50

Shift: 2:45pm 1:15am, Monday through Thursday

What's the Job?

• Ensure all products manufactured meet or exceed quality standards, safety, environmental, and ISO requirements.
• Manage QC lab processes, including testing, calibration, and verification of equipment.
• Enter and maintain accurate test results and documentation in the computer database (JDE).
• Support warehouse and production activities such as order fulfillment, inventory audits, and material handling.
• Assist in root cause analysis investigations for nonconforming products and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in science or engineering or 3+ years of QC laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic math skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and use RF scanners for inventory control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interpret directions and order details.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform bending, twisting, and climbing activities.
