Paradigm in searching for a Quality Control Technician to play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by performing quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.

Type: <\/b>6 -month contract to hire
<\/div>
Location:<\/b> On -site, Hillsboro, OR
<\/div>

As a Quality Control Technician, you will:<\/b>
<\/div>

<\/div>
  • Follow the weekly production and shipping schedule as directed by the supervisor or team lead
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Verify all required documentation is received before beginning work
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Review and interpret assembly drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Inspect SMT and through -hole assemblies in accordance with IPC -610 Class II & III standards
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Operate and program Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and X -ray machines
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct first article inspections
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Log inspection results and quality data into the company database
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Identify and communicate documentation discrepancies
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    Our skills and experience wish list includes:<\/b>
    <\/div>

    <\/div>
    • ​<\/b>High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience in manufacturing or electronics required
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with IPC -610 standards
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Experience operating and programming AOI and X -ray machines
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Ability to identify electronic components and part numbers
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with ISO 9000 processes and LEAN methodologies
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Basic computer skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul>
