Quality Control Lab Technician
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our Quality Control laboratory. This is a swing-shift position, typically 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., and candidates must have some flexibility in their schedule.
The Lab Technician will support daily quality-control activities to ensure raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet established quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, handle, and prepare laboratory samples for testing.
Perform routine quality-control testing and verify production results against established specifications.
Accurately document test results and maintain detailed laboratory records.
Assist with calibration and verification of laboratory equipment.
Communicate out-of-specification or unusual results to appropriate personnel.
Follow established laboratory procedures, test methods, and work instructions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Work collaboratively with Quality, Production, and other departments to help resolve product-quality issues.
Properly handle laboratory materials and equipment.
Follow applicable safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing and moving throughout the laboratory approximately 85% of the workday.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have one or more of the following:
Associate degree in a technical or scientific field.
30-hour certificate in a technical field.
2-4 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, or a laboratory environment.
An equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience will also be considered.

Training is available for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
