Job Overview: As a Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for the following:
Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers.
Discard or reject products, materials or equipment not meeting specifications.
Recommend necessary corrective actions, based on inspection results.
Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
Participate in internal assessment and audits as required.
Prepare and review required method transfer documentation including technical transfer protocols. (PPAP submissions)
Perform visual inspections of finished products.
Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocol.
1st shift positions are available: Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday-Friday -1st shift 7:00am-3:30pm

Required Qualifications:
Ability to read and write English.
Quality Control experience a must, at least 2 years preferred.
Experience working on a computer using Microsoft Office (word, excel, access), Design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks), Outlook-ability to professionally respond to interoffice communication
Blueprint reading and GD&T experience beneficial
Ability to listen to and understand and communicate information and ideas presented; communication is key in this position.

Requires willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
On occasion, the workload may present opportunities to work beyond a normal 8-hour workday.

Physical Requirements and Duties:
Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk withstanding repeat motion throughout the work day.
Ability to stand for the duration of a work shift.
Ability to lift 35 lbs. at a time.
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineering degree beneficial
Forklift experience a plus.
3-6 months working in a warehouse environment.
CMM experience is a plus.
7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri
