Your Impact (Bullet-Point Focus)

  • Meet daily with line leaders to surface product-quality issues and align on next steps.
  • Drive root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and communicate quality metrics and Cost of Quality (COQ) measurements.
  • Facilitate targeted training sessions on quality methods and standards.
  • Lead or contribute to structured problem-solving teams.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports.
  • Inspect subassemblies, final assemblies, electronic systems, support structures, and components using calipers, levels, wire strippers, signal generators, and related tools.
  • Recommend adjustments, repairs, or part replacements to meet specifications; safely operate special tooling and lifting devices.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to resolve production challenges.
  • Perform visual inspections; assist with efficiency/effectiveness troubleshooting.
  • Participate in cross-training and support additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of electrical/mechanical assembly experience in a quality role strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and work orders
  • Understanding of fabrication and welding processes
  • Proficiency with common hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches, tape measures, pliers, calipers, levels, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Preferred: certifications in inspection, auditing, engineering, or related areas
  • Strong written/verbal communication; ability to multitask and adapt to production needs
  • Comfort working independently and within teams

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Extended periods on your feet
  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs.; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • High manual dexterity and steady hand control
  • Frequent tool use and handling of small components
  • Near-vision tasks for precise inspections
  • Typical manufacturing noise
  • Occasional exposure to heat or cold
  • Work around moving mechanical equipment
