R&D Technician (Nutraceuticals)
Location: Lindon, UT
Comp: $60K$62K DOE + Benefits
Position Summary
Seeking an R&D Technician to support the development and scale-up of dietary supplement products. This role works cross-functionally with R&D, QA, Production, and Regulatory to ensure formulations meet cGMP and FDA standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with formulation of powders, capsules, and tablets
Conduct lab testing (pH, moisture, stability, etc.)
Maintain batch records, specs, and documentation
Review raw materials (COAs/MSDS) for compliance
Support pilot runs and production scale-up
Troubleshoot formulation and process issues
Prepare samples for internal and client use
Maintain lab cleanliness and equipment
Qualifications
Bachelors in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related
1+ year R&D experience (internships welcome)
Knowledge of cGMP & FDA regulations
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred:
Experience with formulation, testing, or scale-up
Familiarity with flavor systems or TraceGains
Skills
Strong communication & documentation
Proficient in MS Office
Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
