Job Description
Job Title: Quality Technician
OVERTIME AVAILABLE
$20-$23
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Conduct quality audits to identify non-conformities and ensure compliance with standards
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Identify inefficiencies (scrap, rework, throughput, labor) and determine root causes
- Ensure all processes align with QA/QC standards and company requirements
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and methodologies
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Frequent standing and walking (approximately 65%)
- Regular bending, lifting, stooping, and kneeling (approximately 30%)
- Occasional office-based work (approximately 5%)
