Perform inspections on incoming materials, components, and supplies to verify conformance with established specifications and quality standards.
Conduct thorough testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods using a variety of tools and equipment.
Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
Identify and report any non-conforming products, materials, or processes, and collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Assist in the development and implementation of food safety and quality control procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality control.
Required Key Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience working in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of food safety principles, quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques.
Proficiency in using various measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality management software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA, SQF, ISO,) is desirable.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
